Are air fryers a waste of money

Air fryers are a fairly new concept still so its any wonder you feel its all a waste of time and money, but it won't be unless you give the air fryer a chance with all food items.

Rely upon an air fryer to do all the legwork a microwave or oven would normally do, to really get your monies worth. Your air fryer will become a waste of money if you don't utilize it enough for fries, snacks and even ready meals that fit; thus food is cooked far quicker with better results than traditional appliances.

If cost is a big concern to you, know you can buy an easy to use manual air fryer for as little as $40-$60 dollars, of which you can think about upgrading to a digital model as soon as you realise how useful an air fryer will be in your kitchen.

You will soon jump on the bandwagon as air fryers are highly versatile, and will cook most of what you eat at home.

Which means you will have to adapt to an air fryers lack of, or ability to cook any food items that will fit in the basket.

Air fryers are highly economical too, thus are sure to save money on electric bills because it cooks fast, and uses far less energy when compared to an electric oven, and therefore will save on gas bills, if you regularly use a gas oven.

To imply air fryers are a waste of money, one would assume you don't get enough use out of it, or you do but don't use it enough to justify the cost.

Find a way to make the most out of your air fryer if it isn't being used enough; with an air fryer capable of cooking a small whole chicken, better than an oven can.

Well let me tell you now, if you attempt to cook all your ready meals that fit, pastries, veggies, most raw and pre-cooked meats in your air fryer - I promise you it will be hard to cook again in your conventional oven and microwave.

Its only at this stage of utilizing an air fryer on a daily basis - up to twice a day on some days - will you feel you got your monies worth months later.

In the meantime, just experiment with your favourite food items and see how well an air fryer will cook it in the way its intended.

Can be most used appliance

Simply put, my air fryer has now officially become the most used appliance in the kitchen, which means I feel highly confident I am getting every pennies worth out of this highly adaptable appliance.

Not a single day passes where I don't depend on the air fryer to cook French fries, to all kinds of meats and many different snacks when I'm peckish.

Rarely do I use the microwave these days, and will only use the large oven when I have guests, or I am cooking for several people at any one time.

If you can commit to using your air fryer for an extended period of time, I am sure in due course you will finally release it isn't a waste of time and money. Air fryers exist to quickly fast track meals, which saves a lot of time and effort.

Rely upon for small meals

Rather than cook ready meals in a microwave which only serves to provide meals super quick, as oppose to providing quality cooked food; an air fryer can do it perhaps a little longer, but with far better results.

When microwave ready meals are made available with oven cooking instructions, then why not place the safe plastic tray in the air fryer basket while following the instructions at a reduce time.

Why else you could feel your air fryer isn't a waste of money after all, is it will cook any ready meal - and also prepared meals in trays - that will fit in the basket of an air fryer.

When it comes to an air fryer cooking meals that are normally oven cooked, then I think an air fryer will do it better than an oven can, with the bonus quick time.

Cheap to buy, cheap to replace

Unless you look after your air fryer well, you will be in a position like this where the air fryer will be thrown out with old broken electrical devices, like this old fan.

Cheapest air fryers you can buy vary between $30-$40 and will be operated using a manual dial.

More expensive air fryers will be over $50 and will be digital, thus will provide additional functionality in pre-sets.

When buying from the cheaper range, do you feel it will be a waste of money to replace it if something goes wrong; would you bother replacing a $50 plus air fryer if anything was to ever happen to that one.

So far I haven't found any one of my last three air fryers I've own over the last 4 years or so to break down, which has sure to save me money. I have bought new air fryers but that's only because I've upgraded - as air fryer technology has improved over the years.

Last years if looked after

So while air fryers will get a beaten as you pull the basket in and out at regular intervals during cooking, the air fryer is sure to last until the end.

In fact, I don't think there's a limit of how much you can use an air fryer for until you see faults, so providing you look after it well, the air fryer will serve you very well.

Manufacturer's do provide a warranty guarantee on their air fryers so its worth taking a look at that. I have never thrown an air fryer away due to it breaking down - nor have I replaced an air fryer because the last one kept breaking down.

Only time you will feel its time to splash the cash for a new air fryer is when you realise you need a larger capacity air fryer; and indeed its time to upgrade from a basic manual air fryer to a digital model.

Conclusion

An air fryer will ensure you get your small meals done in know time while providing you a reliable cooking appliance for many years to come.

Air fryers are made to last and will do so if you not only clean it after every use, but the technology used to operate the appliance is fairly reliable in itself.

I'm getting my monies worth because I use the air fryer every day - so there's no chance its a waste of money - and therefore I know with little microwave and big oven use, I am saving a considerable amount on my bills.

Do you know an air fryer can cook any microwave meal if it has oven cooking instructions, and will also cook any oven meal providing the tray fits in the air fryer.

Cheap to buy at less than $40 yet not a lot to replace if anything were to happen.
